The Wahoo's Fish Taco story begins in 1988, when three brothers, Wing, Ed and Mingo, combined their love of surf and food to create a restaurant with an eclectic Mexican/Brazilian/Asian menu and a Hawaiian North Shore meets California action sports community vibe. Through the years, our friends at Wahoo’s Fish Taco have utilized the Blue C 360 ROI process to grow their brand and restaurant’s presence throughout the United States. Blue C developed integrated marketing campaigns to enhance the restaurant’s brand positioning while strengthening the restaurant’s connection with certain customer segments by conducting a deep dive to discover the customer’s preferences. Based on the research findings, Blue C acknowledged several customer groups and created strategic marketing executions to speak to the each group’s media and purchasing habits. Some of the integrated marketing initiatives included: special events, in-store promotions, charity partnerships, multi-media integration, POP, and retail zone communications. The objective of using the Blue C 360 Process is for target marketing, and making each communication going out to the customer relevant and specific to their needs. Since Wahoo’s Fish Taco has partnered with Blue C Advertising, the restaurant has seen an increase in customer appreciation and sales.
